How does the poster editor work?
You upload a picture and paste the words that matter to you. The editor turns the picture into a stencil and fits your text into its shape, so the image is drawn entirely out of your own words. You choose the size, colours and typeface, see the result live, and order it as a print or a digital file.
Can I make a poster on my phone?
The editor is a desktop tool: fitting hundreds of words into an image needs a big screen to be done well. On a phone you can browse and buy the readymade posters, and come back on a computer to create your own.
What sizes are available?
Five sizes: A4 (21 x 29.7 cm), A3 (29.7 x 42 cm), A2 (42 x 59.4 cm), A1 (59.4 x 84.1 cm) and A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm). Readymade posters start at €35 and custom posters at €39 for an A4 delivered within the EU. Prices include delivery and are shown in your own currency for your delivery country.
What paper are the posters printed on?
Every poster is printed to order on thick, museum-quality matte fine-art paper. Matte paper holds dense ink coverage without glare, which suits typographic art hung in living spaces.
Do you ship to my country?
Yes, we ship worldwide, and delivery is included in the price. Prices depend on the delivery country (production and delivery costs differ by region) and are shown in the local currency: euro for Europe and the rest of the world, pounds for the UK, and dollars for the US, Canada and Australia. Orders are produced and dispatched by our professional print partner.
How long does delivery take?
Every print is made to order. Production typically takes a few business days, and delivery time depends on your country. An estimated delivery date for your country is shown on the product page and at checkout, before you pay.
Can I return my order?
Readymade posters can be returned within 14 days under the EU right of withdrawal. Custom posters are made from your personal text to your specification, so they are exempt from withdrawal under EU consumer law (Art. 59 of the Italian Codice del Consumo). Digital files are exempt once you consent to immediate download at checkout. Full details are on our Returns and Withdrawal page.
Do you offer framing?
Yes. Posters in sizes A4 to A1 can be ordered framed in Black, White or Oak. A0 is print only.
Can I get a digital file instead of a print?
For posters you create in the editor, yes: a full-resolution digital file in every print size, rendered at A1 print quality, for €14.99 (shown in your own currency on the site). Print it yourself or use it as a wallpaper, and every physical order of a custom poster includes the files too. Readymade posters are sold as physical posters only.
What words can I use on a custom poster?
Anything that is yours to use: your own writing, letters, wedding vows, a chat history, a speech, a favourite personal memory. If you use someone else's text, you are responsible for having the right to reproduce it. The most meaningful posters almost always come from people's own words.
Who owns the posters, and can I use them commercially?
Posters you create from your own words and images are yours, to use however you like, including commercially. Readymade posters are our intellectual property: you may print them, display them, give them as gifts and change them in the editor for your own use, but not sell copies or products made from them, even when changed. For commercial use of a readymade design, write to us. In every case you agree not to make posters from text or images that belong to someone else, such as song lyrics or photographs you do not have permission to use, for sale.
