Paper
Wordbloom posters are printed on heavyweight museum-quality matte paper, 200 gsm or above. That is roughly twice the weight of the thin stock most posters sold online are printed on, which is often around 100 to 150 gsm. Extra weight means extra thickness, so you will feel the difference as soon as you unwrap it: thick to the touch, holding its shape and hanging flat. Matte paper was a deliberate choice for our posters: it carries dense, saturated colour fields without glare, so the text stays readable from every angle and under every light.
Colour and ink
Screens show colours in light and printers work in ink, so not every colour you see on screen can be printed. We have print-tested our palette and kept only the colours that come out close to what you see on screen, both in the catalogue and in the editor. Even so, since every screen is set up differently and ink on paper never glows the way a lit screen does, small differences between screen and print are normal. .
Framing
Frames are pine wood in a black, white or oak finish, 20 to 25 mm deep, with a light shatter-resistant plexiglass front instead of glass. Sizes A4 to A1 can be ordered framed and arrive with the poster already in the frame, ready to hang. A0 is offered unframed only. Unframed posters ship rolled in protective packaging.
